Microsoft announced that they are retiring classic usage and popularity reports for Classic sites. This includes reports for site collections, sites, document libraries, folders and individual items. These usage reports will not be available after February 29, 2020.
So If you use classic sites and require usage data, you can download historical data for all these popularity reports until February 29, 2020.

One of the announcements that Microsoft outlined in this year's SharePoint Conference was for OneDrive being able to add AutoCAD drawing files and previews of 360-degree images. Another interesting addition is a sync support capability for Windows Virtual Desktop this is Microsoft's new virtual desktop infrastructure service that's currently in a preview stage.
What is one of the most long overdue requests as it relates to SharePoint Online or SharePoint Server? Being able to rename site addresses would be the answer.
The owner of the site has been able to change a lot of properties on their sites over the years but changing site URLs has not been enabled. Since the modern SharePoint admin center came out, you can now change the site name. but you still can’t change the tenant’s domain name of course just the site name portion.

Its the maintaining and administrating it that takes the effort. Here is a sneak preview of how they do it. Now it is true that users may create sites them selves, but they do not have all the features available that admins do.
By using the new SharePoint admin center, you can create sites that use one of the new team site or communication site templates.
Microsoft is bringing activity notifications to the group inbox in SharePoint Online. They will begin rolling this feature out soon.
Currently, your user's site activity feed only includes SharePoint content, files, lists, and pages. After this change goes into effect, your users will be able to view important group emails updates as well. Current settings will not be affected.
Microsoft will begin gradually rolling this out in mid-February, and we anticipate rollout completion by April 2019.
