New Feature: Microsoft 365 Admin Setup Page

Microsoft 365 Admin Setup Page is a new Office 365 feature. We'll begin rolling this feature out soon.

 

Updated Feature: Managing Legacy Teams Trial

As communicated in MC176243, on April 22nd, 2019, we rolled out an updated version of the Microsoft Teams Commercial Cloud Trial to make it easier for admins to manage the trial for their organization. We’ve updated our guidance on how to migrate existing users of the legacy Microsoft Teams Trial.

 

New Feature: Teams read receipts

Read Receipts is a new Office 365 feature. We'll begin rolling this feature out soon.

New Feature: Shared and certified datasets in Power BI

Shared and certified data-sets is a new Power BI feature. We'll begin rolling this feature out in the next month.

 

Updated Feature: Records Management solution in Security and Compliance center

We’re updating the Records Management solution in the Security and Compliance Center. We'll begin rolling this feature out soon. This feature does not apply to Office 365 subscriptions in GCC.

 

New Feature: Microsoft Teams coming to existing installs of Office 365 ProPlus and Office 365 Business/Business

Premium

Major Update: General Availability

We’re seeing significant Teams adoption and positive feedback from the Office 365 deployments that we’ve released thus far. Accordingly, in the second phase of an effort to improve and streamline users initial experience with Teams, we’re making an enhancement so that the Teams desktop client will be added for existing users with Office 365 ProPlus, Microsoft/Office 365 Business, and Microsoft/Office 365 Business Premium apps.

 

New Feature: Outlook on the web - inline translation

Outlook on the web - inline translation is a new Office 365 feature. We'll begin rolling this feature out soon. This rollout is excluded from Office 365 subscriptions in GCC.

 

Updated Feature: Data Loss Prevention on Teams mobile

We’re updating Data Loss Prevention (DLP). DLP is now supported on Teams mobile! This does not apply to Office 365 subscriptions in GCC.

 

Updated: Feature update: Microsoft 365 Admin Center

Major Update: General Availability

Update: This was posted incorrectly and does not apply to customers in GCC, GCC High, DOD, and Microsoft Cloud Germany. Our apologies for any confusion. The Microsoft 365 admin center, available at admin.microsoft.com, is the common entry point for managing all your Microsoft 365 services. We’ll begin rolling out the new Microsoft 365 admin center with enhanced features and functionality in April.

 

New Feature: Retention for Teams Hybrid users

Retention for Teams Hybrid users is a new Office 365 feature. We'll begin rolling this feature out soon.

 

Updated Feature: Native connectors to 3rd party data for Archiving (Preview)

We’re updating Native connectors to 3rd party data for Archiving. We'll begin rolling this preview feature out soon. This update does not yet apply to Office 365 subscriptions in GCC.

 

Dynamics 365 – Minor Service Update for Microsoft Dynamics 365 (online)

We have a minor service update planned for your Microsoft Dynamics 365 (online) organization in the NAM region. Maintenance window start: 22 June 2019, 02:00 UTC Maintenance window end: 22 June 2019, 11:00 UTC

 

Feature update: New setting to prevent users from syncing libraries and folders shared from other organizations

Major Update: General Availability

OneDrive sync client will enable B2BSync for most customers on or after June 17, 2019. This feature allows users to sync SharePoint and OneDrive for Business content shared with them from users at organizations other than their own in order to facilitate business to business collaboration. A new setting to prevent users from using B2BSync (ie prevent syncing libraries and folders shared from other organizations) is an update to an existing Office 365 feature.

Updated Feature: Teams Channel Files Tab has a new look and many new features

Major Update: General Availability

We’re updating the Teams Channel Files Tab with a new look and many new features. This will bring us closer to having nearly all the features that are available in SharePoint, in Teams. We'll begin rolling this feature out soon. This feature is not enabled for Office 365 subscriptions in GCC.

 

New Features: Per-team Analytics and Cross-team Analytics

Both Per-team Analytics and Cross-team Analytics are new Microsoft Teams features that will begin rolling out soon. These features will enable Microsoft Teams users to see analytics on the overall use of the teams they are members of.

 

New Feature: Mail Flow Insights - Phase 2

Mail Flow Insights - Phase 2 is a new Office 365 feature. This feature is rolling out now.
